RapidScale’s Jeanine Sicinski Honored as Rising Star in Third Annual Cloud Girls Rising Awards
Award presented today at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2018
LAS VEGAS – April 19, 2018 — RapidScale, a leader in managed cloud services, announced that Jeanine Sicinski, partner experience manager, has been named a Rising Star in the third annual Cloud Girls Rising: Women to Watch Awards, which were presented today at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
The Cloud Girls Rising Awards are presented by Cloud Girls, a not-for-profit consortium of women evangelizing the cloud, in collaboration with Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology.
The Cloud Girls Rising award was created to honor women in the telecom and IT channel who have shown leadership and innovation in the emerging cloud space as well as to inspire more women to step forward and follow their example. The award was given to two women — a Trailblazer and a Rising Star.
Sicinski was honored as a Rising Star, a female up-and-comer in the cloud community who has shown initiative in advancing cloud and next-generation technology solutions for her organization, customers and the industry.
Sicinski was channel marketing manager for INetU for nearly nine years, where she formally built and managed their channel program. INetU was then acquired by ViaWest in 2015, where she served as the cloud expert for the channel and helped recruit and develop channel relationships for ViaWest in the Northeast. Sicinski has recently joined the RapidScale team as partner experience manager where her responsibilities include developing new partnerships, managing and leading existing partners, and building a winning partner experience approach in the Northeast region.
“I am truly honored to be recognized by the incredibly talented and successful women in the Cloud Girls organization,” says Sicinski. “Their dedication to elevating women in technology is inspiring. Now it’s my responsibility to help continue to build the brand of women in IT for the young women entering the workforce, so they can believe a great career in the technology is possible for them, too.”
Women eligible for the Cloud Girls awards are in sales, marketing or engineering roles at a channel partner organization — agent, VAR or MSP. The 2018 winners were chosen by a judging panel of Cloud Girls and WiC representatives from applications submitted online from Dec. 20, 2017, to Feb. 23, 2018. The winners were awarded trophies and a one-year complimentary membership in Cloud Girls.
