Randy J. Jeter is the CEO of RapidScale, a managed cloud services provider that was acquired by Cox Communications on August 8, 2018. Mr. Jeter co-founded the Irvine, CA/Raleigh, NC-based business in 2010 and leveraged a robust channel partner network to grow the business into one of the nation’s leading privately-owned providers of managed and hybrid managed cloud solutions. Prior to RapidScale, Mr. Jeter was a Senior Channel Sales Manager in the Western Region with PAETEC Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: “PAET”), a comprehensive provider of data, voice, and IP communications. Mr. Jeter was also a Channel Partners Advisory Board member in 2009-2010 and led strategic IT shared spend capital investment projects for Alaris Consulting, now PricewaterhouseCoopers. Before his business career, Mr. Jeter was a physical fitness instructor and held a personal training certification from International Sports Sciences Association. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Vanguard University and earned a baseball scholarship. He is married with three children.

Mr. Jeter has a people, process and systems-based approach to building and running businesses, with a particular focus on hiring a diverse team and instilling winning corporate cultures. He is a student of motivational sales management and delivering superior results with high performing teams. Mr. Jeter is a thought leader in the cloud computing space, and has been asked frequently to participate on panels and speaking engagements at Comptel, Channel Partners, and other cloud computing events. He is also a member of YPO and supports multiple charities.

William Hiatt has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to co-founding RapidScale, Mr. Hiatt served as Principal Architect at BEAR DATA, where he was responsible for their data center practice encompassing access, virtualization, storage, disaster recovery, and efficiency and consolidation. Mr. Hiatt was responsible for enterprise customers, leading solution development and multi-year deployments for large organizations such as Broadcom, Qualcomm, and US DOD CONUS/OCONUS. Mr. Hiatt also developed, built, and managed a cloud-based computing platform in 2006, allowing small and medium businesses to outsource their IT infrastructure in a cost-efficient way while lowering their costs and increasing their service levels. Prior, Mr. Hiatt served as National Director, IT Architecture at Advantage Sales & Marketing, a multi-billion dollar food products and consumer packaged goods company based in Irvine, CA.

Mr. Hiatt brings a deep understanding and knowledge of enterprise systems implementations, with an emphasis on access, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery. Mr. Hiatt holds a B.S. from Chapman University and maintains multiple certifications covering a variety of disciplines. He has spoken at numerous industry conferences such as Storage & Networking World, Gartner Enterprise Data Center Conference, and Network Storage Conference. He has also been published in a variety of magazines such as Byte & Switch, Computerworld, InfoWorld, and Network Magazine. He was nominated as a finalist on both CIO Magazine’s Ones to Watch and Computerworld’s Honors Program.

An experienced technology executive with over 24 years in the industry, Mark Szotkowski brings sales and operational management expertise to RapidScale. Before joining the RapidScale team, Mark owned and operated a successful voice and data consulting company. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Mark served as the Regional Vice President for PAETEC Communications' Western Region. Mark was a key team member responsible for launching the Western Region and as the RVP he grew sales from $0.00 to $32M in annual revenue with full P&L responsibilities. During the last year of his seven-year tenure with PAETEC, Mark was promoted to Vice President of National Accounts. In this role, he was charged with bringing a consistent product offering and pricing to the company’s largest customers, managing multiple national account managers throughout the organization, and growing the revenues for those accounts. Mark holds a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University.

Bob Buchanan joined RapidScale in 2017 as the Executive Vice President of Sales, bringing over 20 years of industry experience and deep expertise in both channel and direct sales to the RapidScale leadership team. Bob was hired due to his track record of building and scaling world-class channel-focused sales organizations in the cloud space, and he is responsible for developing national go-to-market and sales strategies to accelerate RapidScale’s market position as a provider of managed cloud services including Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions.

Prior to his role at RapidScale, Bob served as Vice President of Channel Sales for TierPoint where he built a sales team and expanded their channel sales and nationwide channel distribution capabilities during a period of rapid expansion through acquisition. Bob joined TierPoint upon their acquisition of Windstream’s data center business unit, where he served as Vice President of Sales responsible for leading their cloud and data center go-to-market strategy within the partner community.

Bob has twice been named to CRN’s prestigious annual list of Channel Chiefs, recognized as a leader in the IT channel space. He earned a bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University and lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children.

Duane Barnes joined RapidScale (now a Cox Business company) in 2016 as Director of Solutions Engineering and was charged with building out this team nationwide. By early 2017 Barnes was promoted to SVP of Technology. In this role he is responsible for service delivery, support, solutions engineering, software engineering, project management, compliance, and architecture.

Mr. Barnes has over 20 years of experience working in IT focusing on enterprise data center and security services. Prior to his employment with RapidScale, Intelisys, Open-Xchange, and Windstream Hosted Solutions he held various leadership positions at MPInet, PowerOne Communications, and The Walt Disney Company. His expertise is in complex data center solutions and managed hosting projects; cloud computing, virtualization, storage, SaaS, networking, disaster recovery, security, and VoIP. He currently holds numerous industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, HP, and EMC. Mr. Barnes also holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Phoenix.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Louis Valentino fully supports customers through the entire customer lifecycle from project management, through implementations, and ultimately through technical support.

Lou joined RapidScale in 2017 and has held a number of senior operation leadership roles that focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operations.

Prior to joining RapidScale, Lou served as VP & GM for TierPoint in North Carolina, and in senior leadership and business management positions at two large financial institutions: Citizens Bank/Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), and Old Mutual Asset Management.

Bryan Krieger as a long history of leading software development teams and managing enterprise-scale IT operations teams. He was with Microsoft for 15 years in multiple roles including senior director managing global IT operations teams and principal program manager in the Visual Studio Developer division. Most recently he has been both CTO and CIO in both established and startup SaaS companies.

Bryan now leads the software engineering team within RapidScale, which is building our next-generation products. A native of Seattle, Bryan now resides with his family in Durham, North Carolina.

Brian Leonard was hired as RapidScale’s Vice President of Marketing in 2018 and is responsible for driving efforts to further develop RapidScale as a market leader and global brand in managed and hybrid managed cloud services. His marketing focus includes demand generation activities, events marketing, digital marketing, and channel marketing. In his first year with RapidScale, Brian managed a full corporate rebranding initiative and the launch of a Technology Leadership Academy training portal.

In his previous role as Director of Marketing with Intelisys, Brian built and managed a marketing team that successfully penetrated the IT channel, leading to significant sales growth and eventually their acquisition by ScanSource in 2016. In this role Brain also founded and hosted the Channel Outlaws podcast, a weekly discussion on channel sales trends featuring tech entrepreneurs and sales leaders that reached over 30,000 downloads in a year. During his tenure the company earned a 2016 CRN Partner Marketing Award and the 2017 Channelnomics Cloud Distributor of the Year Award.

Earlier in his career, Brian co-founded a full-service marketing agency for cloud and telecommunications clients and spent four years as a management consultant.

Brian earned his MBA from Arizona State University and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering from Penn State. He co-founded a Toastmasters group during his MBA program and remained a member of Toastmasters for over 15 years in multiple cities across the US. He lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and two children.

Meighan Agresta is RapidScale’s VP of Finance and Administration and has nearly 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles with data center and IT services providers. She joined the firm in 2017 and is responsible for driving development of processes and systems to support RapidScale’s growth while managing day to day financials, reporting, and back office administration.

She began her career in 2001 as one of the first hires at Hosted Solutions, a startup hosting provider that focused on serving clients in North Carolina’s Research Triangle before expanding throughout the east coast. Meighan ran the firm’s accounting and finance department and led various M&A activities, including the 2008 sale of the company to private equity. In 2010 Windstream Communications acquired Hosted Solutions and named Meighan as Head of Business Operations, and she remained in that role with TierPoint after their acquisition of Windstream’s data center assets in 2015.

Meighan attended University of Maryland majoring in Government and Politics.
