The customer is a waste management company is based in Los Angeles, CA with 200 users, alongside with 3 IT staff members. They recently acquired a 50 person company and the company experienced challenges through the inorganic rapid growth. The company was not ready to move on to virtual desktops at the time. The opportunity went dark for a few month, until the business reached out to RapidScale again as the desktop experts.
The company had experienced rapid growth through acquiring 50 new employees in their company. With so many changes stemming from the acquisition the company felt they were not ready to move on to virtual desktops.
The opportunity rooted from a client event that RapidScale sponsored. RapidScale originally was brought in for an email solution but also pitched virtual desktops, the opportunity went dark for a few months, until the company reached out to RapidScale again as the desktop experts. The customer was acquiring a 50-person company and wanted to use it as a test care for virtual desktops.
RapidScale presented the customer with a solution to address their pain points. Per their request RapidScale implemented CloudDesktop for 50 users and provided CloudMail solution to implement in their business plan.
Through RapidScale’s SE providing a demo environment to the customer, they were able to get hands on experience with Cloud products. The operations team approved a 60-day satisfaction guarantee while the implementation engineers helped fine tune the solution and made sure the soft phone could integrate with RapidScale.
The demo desktop provided a real experience to the company. RapidScale was able to deliver all facets of their IT needs as shown by the partner not having to bring in multiple vendors.
